Two International Consultants (One Team Leader & one Team Member) to support the development of National Mercury Inventory and Release Reduction Strategy (Ref. 1-170901)

UNDP Vietnam seeks Two International Consultants (One Team Leader & one Team Member) to support the development of National Mercury Inventory and Release Reduction Strategy (Ref. 1-170901).

The overall objective of the assignment is to provide support and conduct quality assurance on developing the National Mercury inventory and release strategy. The purposes of the consultancy assignment are to: 

1. Provide technical advice and hands-on knowledge on the establishment of the National Mercury inventory and release reduction strategy

1. Provide technical advice on identifying and assessing mercury emissions and mercury containing products, including scientific studies, site surveys, and questionnaires based on UNEP Toolkit (Level 2) methodology
2. Support in assessing capacity building needs for staff members, institutional and industrial stakeholders to identify and improve the awareness of mercury and its implications to the environment and human health

The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
