Purchase of Equipment for E-waste Pilot Plant ITU-UNLP for Argentina

Dear Sir or Madam,

The International Telecommunication Union (“ITU”), the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technology, issues the present Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) to appoint a company responsible to the provision of Equipment for E-waste Pilot Plant ITU-UNLP for Argentina.

The technical specifications of the required goods are described in Annex 1 to this Request for Quotation (“Technical Specifications’’).

The required equipment shall be delivered in the Universidad Nacional de la Plata (UNLP) Calle 3 y 525, Tolosa, La Plata, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Any purchase order resulting from this RFQ shall contain the ITU General Terms and Conditions (Annex 3).

Request for clarifications and Quotation submission

Bidders requiring any clarification about this Solicitation document, the related Technical Specifications or the solicitation process itself, have the opportunity to submit their queries, in writing only, by the deadline of Friday, 11 August 2017 at 16:00 hours (Geneva Time) to the following email addresses:

Only ITU’s written responses to the queries received as prescribed above will be considered an integral part of the Solicitation Document and will be taken into consideration in the subsequent evaluation process. The consolidated table containing the Bidder’s queries (without mention to the question’s source) and ITU’s responses will be published on UNGM. Bidders shall be aware that the timing for distribution of ITU’s answers will depend on the complexity and the number of queries received.

BID CLOSING DATE: Quotations shall be submitted as one single PDF file by the deadline of Friday, 25 August 2017 at 16:00 hours (Geneva Time) to the following e-mail addresses:

The Bidder is solely responsible for ensuring timely submission of its Quotation. Any Quotation received after the Closing Date will not be considered.

Solicitation Document amendments and other notices

ITU reserves the right to amend the Request for Quotation prior to the Bid Closing Date. Any changes to this document, if any, will be published on UNGM. Accordingly, Bidders shall check periodically if any amendments or communications have been posted on UNGM.
