New clarification added: Q 1. Engine information: " Fuel grade: Leaded and RON:78" these are gazoline/petrol specifications. These should be removed to prevent confusion.A 1. Diesel fuel is required Q 2. The vendor has to provide Vehicle Plus Armoreing of Vehicle, Or the Buyer will be provide the Vehicle and Vendor has to provide the services to Armor the Vehicle.A 2. The vendor has to provide Vehicle Plus Armoreing of VehicleQ 3. Color Perference for Vehicle ( White, Black, eg)A 3 . White Q 4. Submission of BID Value should be Inclucive/Excluding of all the Taxes i;e( Road tax, Green tax, Import tax, Car registration tax),A 4. All quotations shall be submitted net of any direct taxes customs duties and indirect taxes, such as sales taxes, VAT, taxes on commodities such as fuel.Q 5. Freight charges paid by Supplier Vendor / Buyer to deliver the vehicle in IRAQ A 5. Delivery is CPT incoterm Q 6. what type of armoring is required.( * Please read the Star(**) Mark Notice *)A 6. The type of armoring required is B6 level, according to the European standard of EN 1522 – EN1063Q 7. Date of delivery (As I read somewhere 'six to seven weeks' is the time provided, please confirm)A 7. Before end of september 2017Q 8. No subsequent taxes are to be levied over Dubai armoring facility but IRAQ may impose Import Duties, Please clarify.A 8. All quotations shall be submitted net of any direct taxes customs duties and indirect taxes, such as sales taxes, VAT, taxes on commodities such as fuelQ 9. We can provide armoring of above mentioned vehicle either with Ballistic steel or with Composite materials.Steel armor weighs approximately 52kgs per mtr sq. and composite materials are available from 22 kgs per mtr sq to 38kgs per mtr sq.Also steel armoring is comparatively low in price but will certainly effect vehicle performance on the other hand composite armoring is light weight, high performance and also do not effect vehicle performance.A 9. Please as per to the requirments in the ITB Q 10. Would it be possible to deliver the vehicles to the UN base in Brindisi so that they can be transferred to Erbil via UN air freight ? This could be a much faster and less expensive solution.A 10. No it is not possible Q 11. Can you kindly advise if a Performance Security will be required upon receipt of award?A 11. No it is not required , however liquidated damages will be required as mentioned in the ITB Q 12. Kindly advise if delivery terms CPT - UMM QASR Port is acceptables?A 12. No it is not acceptable

New clarification added: Q. We would like to request for extension on submission of bid.Kindly grant us 2 week extension due to complexity of the item required we will require more time in preparing Technical Offer.A. Project time line won't allow for such time extenstion for submission.

New clarification added: Q . might the requested ambulance version also be accepted based on Toyota Land Cruiser 200?A. any brand fully meets the minimum technical specifications can be offered. Q. Kindly grant us 2 week extension due to complexity of the item required we will require more time in preparing Technical Offer.A. Due to export regularities, we can't offered extending the bidding timeline rather than what is already advertised.

New clarification added: Q: As specified in the ITB/2017/898 the base vehicle required is Toyota Land Cruiser 78 with 1HZ 4.2l V6 Diesel engine.Please note that this model has been discontinued and Toyota replaced it with a new model featuring 4,5l VDJ V8 Turbo Diesel engine.Could you please advise if the new engine configuration is acceptable by UNOPS?A: Please note that the requested requirements are UNOPS minimum requirements, where UNOPS will not accept anything below.
