Description
The United Nations Office at Geneva, on behalf of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Turkey, is looking to establish a contract with a service provider to undertake Third Party Monitioring of projects related to the Syrian Cross Border Humanitarian Assistance, funded by the Turkey Humanitarian Fund. The service provider would provide third party verification of planned outputs and activities as well as monotring the selection and prioritisation process of beneficiaries served. OCHA Turkey currently has approximately 260 projects running in Turkey with a combined value of 177 Million USD. Currently, there are 63 projects that require immediate monitoring and it is expected that approximately 200 additional projects will need to be monitored for 2017 and 2018. It should be noted that this monitoring will involve visiting remote locations in the field across Syria, including locations which OCHA is unable to visit due to the security risks involved. The duration of the contract is envisaged to be three(3) years, with the option of extension for two (2) further one-year periods (3+1+1).
