1. The United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) and the United Nations African Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) requires contractual services for the provision of a 10 MB International Private Leased Circuit between UNMIS Headquarters in Khartoum and the Data Network Centre at United Nations Logistics Base in Brindisi, Italy, as follows: Point of termination: Khartoum, Sudan CITS Data Centre/Building 1 UNMIS New HQ Compound Obeid Khatim Street, Riyad Khartoum, Sudan Point of termination: Brindisi, Italy CITS/NCC/Building 178 United Nations Logistics Base CO Aeroporto Militare Piazza Del vento 1, Casale Brindisi, 72010, Italy 2. The requirement includes but not limited the following: 2.1 To secure, reliable and efficient digital information transfer I the form of data, voice, graphics and video 2.2 One-Stop-Shop, provisioning, billing and end-to-end management of the IPLC which includes: 2.2.1 Physical connection vial local Fibre Optical cable infrastructure to both points of termination at Khartoum and Brindisi; 2.2.2 Provision of end-to-end digital interface equipment compatible to UN standard digital networking equipment (Cisco) 2.2.3 Guaranteed 99.7% up-time or better 2.2.4 Network Outage Credit System 2.2.5 Utilization of FALCON or FLAG regional Fibre backbone with Cable Land Station (CLS) at Port Sudan (Sudan) The anticipated contract period is envisaged to be for a period of one (1) year with an option to extend for two (2) successive one-year periods.
