Description
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) invites expression of interest (EOI) from qualified companies for the provision of General Engineering Operation and Maintenance Services on a 24/7 basis for UNAMA locations in Kabul and regional compounds country wide. The requirement covers provision of all general maintenance services, including but not limited to the following: (i) Air Conditioning and HVAC; (ii) Electrical; (iii) Plumbing; (iv) Carpentry; (v) Welding; (vi) Painting; (vii) Building Maintenance; (viii) Metal Works. The general maintenance works of the compounds will be the Contractor’s responsibility at all times i.e. twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. The Contractor will perform daily routine maintenance, and periodic preventive maintenance; and attend any emergency calls whenever required day and night including holidays. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to provide skilled staff with the necessary technical knowledge, tools & equipment, expertise and understanding to perform the work. UNAMA will establish a long term contract for these services for two or more years. Please note that this notice is issued only to allow companies to express their interest. It does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EOI does not automatically guarantee that a company will be considered for receipt of the tender. UNAMA reserves the right to change or cancel its requirement at any time. More details for the requirement will be included in the solicitation documents to the invited vendors.
