New clarification added: Question: Please note that the UN Tender specifies that six (6) batteries are to be included per searchlight. Our standard package normally contains three (3) batteries, so an additional three batteries per searchlight (84 total) will need to be quoted as a separate line item. These additional batteries do not fit in the package’s storage case so they will be packed separately. Also, we can ship the original kit all by air therefore meeting the delivery deadline, yet the extra batteries have to be shipped seperately via sea freight. Please consider the following:- Will you accept partial shipment of the basic kit (including 3 batteries), then another shipment of spare batteries to be handed over at the free zone amman? UNOPS Reply: the partial shipment of the basic kit and the another simpment of spare batteries is acceptable as long as the delivery of can be secured within the required delivery time established in the ITB in Incoterms: CPT – Queen Alia Airport, Jordan.- We are able to deliver the kit within the time frame, the extra batteries will require more than 8 weeks, is that acceptable? UNOPS Reply: Please comply with the required delivery time established in the ITB- We will bill both items seperately, please confirm this is acceptable? UNOPS Reply: This is Acceptable- One way to solve the above issue, is reduce the number of batteries to three instead of 6, will you consider such an adjustment (on regular beam, yu can achieve 115 minutes per battery)? Please advice. UNOPS Reply: Please comply with the ITB specifications- How we recive the bid result for this tender. UNOPS Reply: It will be puplished in UNGM upon awarding- Will these searchlights be used on a luxury yacht? UNOPS Reply: The searchlights will be used for border monitoring
