The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) MENA Regional office in Amman, is looking for potential suppliers for the following services.

SERVICES

To support the UNICEF MENA Regional Office to analyze and document the current health (using immunization as an example) financing landscape and practices, observed trends and lessons learned from multiple countries in the region. Additionally to support the Regional Office to explore and document strategies, scenarios and advocacy tools which can be employed for policy influence and change towards sustainable and equitable immunization financing

PURPOSE, OBJECTIVES and EXPECTED RESULTS

UNICEF MENA Regional Office is increasingly engaged in supporting and contributing to sustainable and equitable health and immunization financing and evidence-based policies, with special focus on middle income and GAVI transitioning countries. In this context, UNICEF MENARO seeks an institutional contract with the purpose of conducting a detailed landscape analysis on immunization financing, including a review of current procurement practices, and providing recommendations for strategies and policy changes. 

The core objectives of this consultancy are the following:

  • Build the capacity of the UNICEF MENA Regional Office in addressing and influencing immunization financing, especially in middle income and GAVI transitioning countries, and
  • Generate and disseminate knowledge on immunization financing, in particular in procurement, and key strategies in influencing sustainable and equitable policies.

Expected result:

  • The UNICEF MENA Regional Office is equipped with technical capacity and synthesized information to support the Country Offices and governments with sustainable, equitable and evidence-based immunization financing and policy making.

    Please note the following:

  • Suppliers are not charged to register in UNGM.
  • UNICEF does not contract with suppliers who are non-compliant with the National Labour Laws and Regulations and with those who are do not abide to ethical standards related to child labour and landmines.
  • UNICEF payment terms are after delivery.
  • UNICEF prefers to collaborate with service providers and with those who have previous working experience with either UN or International Organizations;

Upon registration in UNGM and notification of the same to the relevant UNICEF official by the supplier, UNICEF officials may visit the premises of the supplier.
