The Global Service Center/ United Nations Logistics Base (GSC/UNLB) intends to issue a tender for a Turnkey Project for the Provision and Installation of a Glass Canopy at Building B, GSC/UNLB Brindisi, Italy. This is a turnkey project to be carried out in the GSC/UNLB premises, and the Contractor shall complete the works in 3 phases; the activity breakdown of each phase is described below: Phase 1 (Safety Planning and Scheduling): • Operative Safety Plan (P.O.S.) with all required documentation as per Italian Safety laws; • Executive Project; • Executive Gantt Chart; • Product Data, Shop Drawings and Samples; • A complete list of all of the Contractor’s personnel and the registered vehicles. Phase 2 (Construction): • Site preparation, mobilization, fencing, signage, temporary utilities, protection and demobilization and any other activity related to Operative Safety Plan implementation, i.e. scaffolding, etc.; • Demolition of flooring, excavation and sub-base; • Concrete foundation for columns as per Executive Design; • Erection of steel framing including anchoring and jointing as per Executive design; • Checking for straightness and square-ness of structure while erecting; • Installation of new glazed panels, sealing; Phase 3 (Testing and Closeout): • Calibrating and testing of the installation for structural soundness and water-tightness. • Closeout submittals: warranties, certificates, test reports, as-built drawings; bill of installed materials; test reports, certificates and warranties and spare parts, if any.
