Description
The Global Service Center/ United Nations Logistics Base (GSC/UNLB) intends to issue a tender for a Turnkey Project for the Replacement of Various Interior Doors in Building A, and Provision of a 2-Year Maintenance. This is a turnkey project to be carried out in GSC/UNLB, Brindisi Italy, and the Contractor shall complete the works in 3 phases and the activity breakdown of each phase is described below: Phase 1 (Safety Planning and Scheduling): • Operative Safety Plan (P.O.S.) with all required documentation as per Italian Safety laws. • Executive Gantt Chart; • Shop Drawings and Field measurements; • A complete list of all of the Contractor’s personnel and the registered vehicles. Phase 2 (Replacement of Doors): • Site preparation, mobilization, fencing, signage, temporary utilities, protection and demobilization and any other activity related to Operative Safety Plan implementation; • Removal, loading, transport and unloading of: (1) set of glazed sliding doors including, removed marble trims and all related debris; (4) interior wooden doors; The removed doors are UN property and will be placed by the Contractor in a GSC designated location as instructed by the GSC Representative. The removal of the indicated doors shall be done without damage to UN property; • Building of gypsum board dropped ceiling and transom over new entrance doors; • Relocation of card reader and ceiling light and related electrical works; • Provision and installation of new interior doors based on the approved shop drawings; • Electrical connection of the new doors to the existing card reader system; • Electrical connection of new automated doors. Phase 3 (Commissioning, Testing and Maintenance Plan): • Calibrating and testing of the installed equipment; • Operating and testing the installed system compared to the expected performance; • Testing the system for correct configuration; • Provision of a ten‐year Maintenance Plan of sliding door and revolving door; • Submission of as‐built drawings, bill of materials and spare parts (all CE certified) upon completion of works and final tests/certifications.
