PROVISION OF 155 Mbps OC-3 LEASED LINE

DFS/UNLB requires provision of an International Link, leased line at 155 Mbps OC-3, connecting UNLB Brindisi, Italy and UN site at Valencia, Spain. The line has to be provided through fiber optic connection from the carrier’s point of presence into UN premises. Connection should have ability of possible upgrade to 622 Mbps OC-12. Provider must ensure 24x7 technical support and fault rectification for problems that might occur with the connection. Initial period of contract will be three years with possible extension for additional two years for a total of maximum five years. The estimated not-to-exceed (NTE) amount of the contract is estimated at US$ 2,000,000.00 for the maximum duration of the contract (five years).
