New DTIE ICT Platform for UNEP Paris (SC 1000235548)

The Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (DTIE) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) provides solutions to decision-makers and helps change the business environment by offering platforms for dialogue and cooperation, innovative policy options, pilot projects and creative market mechanisms. For details concerning DTIE, please refer to its website at: www.unep.org/dtie DTIE with its office in Paris, France has adopted a 5 years replacement policy for its ICT Platform and is seeking interested vendors to provide the hardware (servers, Storage, switches, firewalls & UPS), software/licenses (Microsoft, VMWARE, Symantec and Kaspersky) and associated services for initial setup and configuration. Characteristics of the new platform: • Capability of supporting between 160 to 180 staff members • Full Microsoft Server 2012 R2 (Active Directory, WSUS, Direct Access, files and printer servers) • Secured access to DTIE platform from anywhere (Telecommuting and/or missions) • Extended reliability (Redundant Firewalls) SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY) - The vendor shall have relevant experience in Networking, Virtualization, Microsoft server's administration and firewall security. - The machines, software & licenses must be delivered and installed in UNEP's Paris France premises within four (4) - six (6) weeks of contract award in order to meet the strict deadline of the DTIE.
