The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Bangkok, Thailand, is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to provide maintenance services for the existing fire detection and fire suppression systems in ESCAP compound, Bangkok, Thailand. The contract shall have a duration of two (2) years, tentatively commencing on 1 October 2016 and ending on 30 September 2016. Preventive Maintenance Services: a) Monthly preventive maintenance for main equipment such as fire alarm control panels, computer workstations, annunciator panels, DC power supply units and related equipment of the fire detection and alarm system. b) Yearly preventive maintenance of field equipment such as smoke detectors, monitor/control/relay modules, manual pull stations, bells and related equipment of the fire detection and alarm system. c) Quarterly preventive maintenance of DC-1 computer room’s fire suppression system at 2nd floor, Service building. d) Quarterly preventive maintenance of kitchen hood fire suppression system at main kitchen, Ground and 1st floors, UNCC building. The service activities of fire detection and alarm system shall also include the provision of assistance during biannual general alarm tests and annual fire drill execution (conducted by UNESCAP Security and Safety Section). Emergency Repair Services: a) Emergency service call or troubleshooting of the systems’ equipment and machines as required should a problem arises. b) Notify the UNESCAP supervisor or representative staff of any repairs that would be required when they are discovered.
