Provision of Sea Container Conversion Services for UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) intends to establish a long-term service contract for the provision of Conversion of UN owned ISO Sea Containers for UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy on “as and when requested” basis. The Contract will be established for an initial period of 3 years, with the option to be renewed for 2 additional periods of one-year each, for a maximum contract period of 5 years. In this regard, UNGSC is seeking a qualified Contractor to customize UN owned ISO Standard Sea Shipping Containers into container-based, modular rapid deployable ICT solutions. The converted containers will be deployed globally to the UN Peacekeeping Missions and should fulfill the basic telecommunications needs of a new Mission during its start-up phase. UNGSC requires four (4) different customization versions varying in terms of cooling capacity, electrical engineering and internal layout, as follow: - Version A: Modular Command Post - Version B: Technology Centre - Version C: Modular ICT Facility 20’ - Version D: Modular ICT Facility 10’ The Contractor shall perform all works associated with the container infrastructure conversion as follows: - Manufacture and/or procurement of materials and accessories needed (with the exception of the container itself); - Electrical engineering, design and implementation; - Air Conditioner/HVAC installation; - UTP cabling; - Coating sandwich panels, mezzanine and doors installation; - Raised floor installation; - Container wall modifications if/when required and I/O sealed panels installation; - Repainting if/when needed; - Shipping and Logistics based on DAP – Delivery at Place to UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy (Incoterms 2010).
