REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 1. The United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (UNMICT), seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from duly registered and licensed companies for the provision and delivery of the following items: a. Dry Goods : dry soya beans,sugar,cooking oil ,spaghetti,maize meal ,beef cubes,Fresh milk, fruit juice,etc… b. House-Keeping Supplies :Paper napkins,matches (box),super bright double power,Toss Powder Soap,Shoe Brush ,etc... The full list of requirements and details will be indicated in the Invitation to Bid. 2. UNMICT will undertake competitive bidding exercises shortly and accordingly intends to issue Invitation to Bid (ITB) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill UNMICT requirements. In addition, the interested companies will be requested to complete UN Vendor registration for level 1 on the vendor database accessible on http://www.ungm.org (new vendors only). 3. Companies interested in providing the above requirements are invited to submit their responses to this EOI using the attached response form, along with the following documents: a) Company’s full profile with all details (address, contact person, telephone/fax numbers, e-mail) b) Company’s registration number (if already registered with UN) and UNGM registration number (www.ungm.org). Please note that if you have not registered with UNGM, its mandatory that you do register your company before issuing your company with tender documents. 4. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of proposals. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested in participating in the solicitation when issued. 5. The UNMICT will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill UNMICT’s requirement. 6. UNMICT reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. The tender and any subsequent commitment to contract will be issued in accordance with UN rules and regulations. 7. The expressions of interest (EOI) may be submitted by mail, by courier clearly marked with the inscription “Expression of Interest – Provision and Delivery of Dry goods and House -Keeping Supplies to UNMICT Facilities in Arusha,Tanzania" and sent to the following address to be received no later than 17H30 (Tanzania local time: GMT +3) on 09 May 2016.
