Description

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

UNESCO is using SAP ECC 6 as its ERP system. The current system landscape consists of 2 instances; 1 system for the financial and budgeting operations (FABS, since 2001) and 1 system for the HCM operations (STEPS, since 2007) which are on the same release, EHP7. Both systems are connected through an ALE connection to synchronize master data objects and budget information and to transfer payroll payment documents.

  • UNESCO would like to merge its current HCM system into their current Financial system to streamline the business process, have one source of information and lessen the system maintenance in both financial and human resources.

    Engagement goals and objectives:

  • Migration of all HCM master data, transactional data, organizational data, and payroll results as of present in our current HCM productive system, STEPS. This includes al historical data going back to the earliest payroll in April 2007, The receiving system will be our current productive financial and budgeting system, FABS
  • Migration of all the HCM customizing and specific development from our HCM system to the financial budgeting system so that all functionalities used in our current HCM system can be used in our Financial and Budgeting system
  • Adjust customizing and development in such way that all functionalities which had their master in either one of the systems (like payroll payments, financial postings, table contents with master in STEPS etc.) are fully integrated and operational in the new merged system. This includes functionalities and specific solutions like PBC (Positioning Budget Control) and interfaces to our workflows solutions on .net
