Description
The Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT) intends to establish a multi-year contract with a company (contractor) for the provision of medical supplies and reagents (drugs and pharmaceuticals) on a non-exclusive basis. The MICT will be seeking a Contractor who is a certified Pharmaceutical manufacturer and / or distributor. This Scope applies to the MICT Arusha Branch located at the greenfield site in the Lakilaki area (approximately 12 km NW the Arusha city centre), of Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania and two other locations in Arusha to be determined at a later date. The potential contract will be for an initial three (3) years with an option to extend for an addition two (2) years of one year each. During the contract period, the Contractor shall be responsible for the following tasks: • Provide the MICT with medical supplies and reagents on an "as required" basis; • Provide medical supplies and reagents that are well within their expiration date, in accordance with the highest standard of practice within the industry; • Responsibility for the handling, sorting, transporting and delivery of the medical supplies and reagents to the location or locations as requested by the MICT ; • Provide the MICT with all manufacturers’ warranties, including but not limited to the warranty that the medical supplies and reagents shall be free of defects. A more detailed description will be provided in the solicitation documents (Invitation to Bid - ITB). Please note that responding to the EOI does not guarantee your company will be invited to the forthcoming tender that will be issued. A list of companies to be invited will be established subsequent to the review and analyses of the responses to this EOI exercise. Please submit your response to this EOI by e-mail or fax using the attached form. All responses will be kept strictly confidential. The UN-MICT reserves the right to change or cancel this request for EOI at any time.
