Description
United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), hereby invites qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for a branding exercise and event-focused campaign that will, 1) Build UNEP’s flagship day for environmental outreach, World Environment Day (WED), from an event into a global movement and brand for positive environmental action; 2) support the WED 2016 theme – Illegal Trade in Wildlife. The campaign work should have a strong digital engagement/social mobilization component and global reach. The details of the requirement shall be communicated in due course in the tender documents. Below is a brief description of the requirement: UNEP seeks companies that will develop the following: • A theme (campaign tagline/slogan with a clear call-to-action). • A WED logo, and visual branding materials and style guide (banners, posters, social media visuals, WED booklet, etc). • Design and manage a campaign website. • A social media strategy that is tied into the call-to-action. • WED video Public Service Announcements. • Partnership development plan. • Media buying. • Monitoring and evaluation plan including the identification of the appropriate metrics to measure evidence of results and impact. NB: deliverables will be expected in all 6 UN languages plus Portuguese to support WED host country (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish). In this regard, UNON on behalf of UNEP intends to contract a vendor to conduct the communication campaign for a period of not more than 9 months. Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to george.macharia@unon.org with a copy to adeline.singoei@unon.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
