The United Nations Global Service Centre/United Nations Logistics Base (UNGSC/UNLB) based in Brindisi, Italy requires the services of a qualified contractor for the Provision and Installation Services of renewable energy systems in the United Nations Global Service Centre / United Nations Logistics Base in Brindisi. In particular, street lighting installations powered by wind and solar energy. The streetlights are to be installed in two separate areas that comprise: • Two adjacent open parking lots. The gravel parking lots are ~12,360 square meter and ~8,380 square meter respectively and are allocated for heavy vehicles and containers; • An open parking lot. The 900-square meter asphalt parking lot is allocated for private vehicles. NB: The two lighting systems will be independent from the United Nations Logistics Base and Municipal electrical power network. Bidders will be given the opportunity to visit the site, ask questions and familiarize themselves with all relevant details before submitting their Bid. The site visit will be mandatory in order for the bidders to gather the preliminary data concerning the site and to examine the fundamental aspects needed to organize the works. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date of this EOI.
