Supply and Delivery of Building Materials and Spare Parts at UNAMI Facilities in Erbil, Iraq

1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Supply and Delivery of Building Materials and Spare Parts at UNAMI Facilities in Erbil, Iraq on an "as required" basis. 2. The requirements will include, but not limited to, the followings: a) Supplying materials shall include all required manpower, transportation and necessary incidentals to ensure proper unloading of requested materials at UNAMI Facilities in Erbil, Iraq. b) All deliveries should be completed in the shortest possible time whenever services are requested. c) The building materials and spare parts shall meet applicable: ISO 9000, ASTM, EU and UK standards. 3. UNAMI intends to award a contract for one (1) year, with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year period. 4. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and issue accordingly a formal solicitation documents with detailed specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 5. In addition, the interested companies (New Vendors Only) are requested to complete their registration on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org) at level 1. 6. Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
