Provision of External Digital Asset Management Services for UNMISS Aviation Section

1. The United Nations Mission in the Republic of South Sudan (UNMISS) through its Public Information Office intends to contract a professional service provider to for the provision of an External Digital Asset Management Services for its operation in South Sudan. 2. Requirement The professional service provider will be required to host online, the entire digital media library and support the various workflows of the Mission. The service provider must have the license, skills and overall knowledge to provide the following applications among others: a). Be web-based turn-key, cross-platform and based on open architecture; b). Be user-friendly and easily accessible from all over the world via major standard web browsers; c). Support cloud-based file storage system with high scalability, availability and with security, back-up (across redundant servers) and fail-over protocols; d). Include an end-user search interface that allows for search and display as simple search screen (Google type entry), as well as advanced search interface where the client may select a more specific search criteria as needed; e). Include digital rights managements and license management based on client category and usage; f). Include report generation tools, based on media ingested, downloaded, catalogued, and possibility of defining other on-demand reports and metrics;
