Global Telephony Billing Solution
The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) is the food-aid arm of the United Nations and the world’s largest Humanitarian Agency fighting hunger worldwide. WFP aims to reach more than 90 million people with food assistance and has a presence in 81 countries, with over 420 remote sites globally.
UNWFP’s existing telephony systems are comprised of Legacy Small Business Phone systems in each site that support each office with PSTN connectivity and Corporate VoIP services. UNWFP is also currently in the process of globally implementing a new Unified Communications System which integrates voice, video and instant messaging, defacto replacing the legacy PBX systems. Each country or site is responsible for their own billing and cost recovery processes.
UNWFP hereby seeks and invites to pre-qualified, interested and reputable suppliers, service providers, system integrators, or other technology companies with a strong experience in Telephony Billing Systems, preferably with proven experience in deployment of centralised accounting and billing systems for legacy, VoIP, mobile, Lync 2013 and satellite phone technologies globally or delivering these kind of services on a cloud solution. UNWFP requires to see a demonstration of the system to evaluate whether it is compliant with our requirements.
Interested parties should express interest by contacting UNWFP through the following dedicated email address: hq.tenders@wfp.org no later than June 9, 2015 16:00 hours (Rome time). Potential suppliers, who have expressed interest, are requested to complete and furnish the questionnaire (as per attached) which will be used to pre-qualify potential solution providers.
Eligible suppliers who meet all of the pre-qualification criteria may be invited to participate in a competitive tender exercise (RFP).
