Description
The United Nations (hereafter referred to as the “UN”) seeks to establish non-exclusive contract(s) with qualified service provider(s) for the provision of international airmail re-mail delivery services for the mail shipments dispatched from the United Nations Headquarters. The delivery services shall include the following mail categories: - International First (1st) Class Airmail Re-mail Delivery; - International Second (2nd) Class Airmail Re-mail Delivery. The UN has a projection of approximately 50,700 numbers of 1st class air mails and 19350 numbers of 2nd class airmails per year during the next 5 years. The UN does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of International 1st Class and/or International 2nd Class Airmail shipments each year or for the life of the resulting contract(s). The UN also does not guarantee any monetary value or order any minimum amount of the services from the resulting contract(s). The Contractor shall be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, material and supplies, and for making all arrangements necessary to perform the services. The initial contract term will be for three (3) years, with the option to extend for two (2) additional one-year periods at the sole discretion of the United Nations, under the existing terms and conditions. The UN reserves the right to split the award between Proposers.
