1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Provision of 16 independently operating internet subscriptions for Aastra-3B KU Band internet access for use in Iraq for the initial period of one year with an option of extension additional one year. 1.1The purpose of this reqierement is to backup the existing setup provided on the location backbone in UNAMI Baghdad Iraq . 1.2 The ultimate aim of installing this system is to achieve the following to which the Vendor is to note for implementation in their provided system: *SME, SOHO and home user with capacity 2048kbps/512kbps. * Services must be provided on the basis of Volume limited to 25GB and price per additional GB should limit be exceeded and the one time set-up fee if applicable * solutions is required to be small/light footprint proposal is limited to provision of 16 sets of equipment and 16 standard internet subscriptionst 1.3 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies will be requested to complete a UNAMI Vendor Registration Form (New Vendors Only). To obtain this form, please contact UNAMI as above. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on a detailed Statement of Works, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender. 3.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFQ document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
