The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified companies for the provision of preventive maintenance services and emergency repair services of wastewater treatment and sewage system plant at the UNESCAP compound. Interested vendors shall be able to comply with the following terms and requirements: 1) Provision of routine inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance, testing and analysis of wastewater quality, in order to maintain the operational efficiency of wastewater and sewage system plant so that the quality of wastewater discharge shall be within the standard limits for environmental regulatory requirements as issued by the Pollution Control Department (PCD), Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment. 2) The current waste treatment plant and sewage system consists of: 2.1) Wastewater Treatment Plant with capacity of 100 cubic meter per day 2.2) Water Reuse Plant 2.3) Sewage Pit (Pump Station 1 & 2) including system piping and control panel 4 The list of equipment is as shown below Equipment QTY. Power (kW) Sump pump 2 1.5 & 3.7 Aerator 6 2.2 Sludge return pump 2 2.2 Sludge drain pump 2 1.5 Disposal sludge pump 1 3.7 Submersible scum skimmer 1 0.75 Reused water pump 1 1.5 Reused water filter 1 0.6 Exhaust fan 1 0.3 Fresh air fan 1 0.3 Mechanical Bar Screen 1 0.1 Electric chain hoist 1 1.8 3) Standards, Codes and regulations Unless otherwise stated, the contractor shall comply, where applicable, with the latest edition of the Codes, Standards and Regulations issued by the following organizations, institutes and bureaus: 3.1) Pollution Control Department (PCD), Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment 3.2) National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 3.3) American National Standard Institute (ANSI) 3.4) International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 3.5) National Electrical Code (NEC) 3.6) The Thai Industrial Standard (TIS) 3.7) Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) 3.8) Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA 3.9) Bangkok Metropolitan Authority (BMA) Companies who wish to be considered for receipt of the tender documents must submit vendor applications for review and consideration by the United Nations. The vendor registration form can be accessed at www.unescap.org/procurement/vendor-registration/registration.aspx. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. UNESCAP reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI phase or solicitation process. Submitting a response to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that a vendor will receive an invitation to participate in the solicitation. Only those companies deemed qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the vendor application, will receive the final Request for Proposal.
