Description
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced companies for the provision of messenger services in support of its operations in Bangkok, Thailand.
The scope of services includes the provision of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and tools necessary to carry out the following functions:
a. Tier 1 – Engaged Messenger Services
These services involve the secure and timely handling of sensitive and official documentation, including but not limited to:
1. Delivery of highly confidential documents.
2. Submission of visa applications for official missions.
3. Submission and collection of documents, letters, passports, and approval letters to and from diplomatic missions and various government entities, including the Immigration Bureau, Department of Land Transport, Department of Customs, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Department of Consular Affairs and Department of Protocol).
b. Tier 2 – Ordinary Messenger Services
This includes the routine delivery and collection of official mail, correspondence, documents, and materials between ESCAP and embassies, government offices, UN entities, and other designated locations within Bangkok and its vicinity.
Location: United Nations Building, Rajadamnern Nok Avenue, Bangkok, Thailand
Contract Duration: The initial contract period will be for three (3) years, with the possibility of two (2) extension options of two (2) years each. Please note that any contract extension will be at the sole discretion of ESCAP and subject to contractor's satisfactory performance, availability of budgetary resources, and evolving operational requirements of the organization.

ESCAP reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any stage of the EOI and/or solicitation process.
