ITB UNDP-IRQ-01773- Retrofitting the General Directorate for The Preparation of Teachers – Ministry of Education - Building 01 (B01), Baghdad Governorate, Iraq

To: All potential bidders,

The purpose of this addendum is to formally notify all prospective bidders of the change in requirement; additional items have been added to the BoQ. Accordingly, the following changes have been made to reflect as below:

 

 

·         The deadline for submission has been shifted to 18 August 2025, 14:00

• Updated SoW, Drawings, and unpriced BoQs, numbered 1,2, and 5 in original package Document " Added WC Drawings Package" to be added to the bidding documents.
• Remaining documents remain the same (3-9):

 

 

Removals:

•             The beneficiaries have implemented some of the components in the BoQ, which were reduced, including:

o             Interior Wall Painting in Building B01, as it was recently completed by the site staff.

o             Lighting Fixtures, as existing units have been replaced with new LED fixtures by the staff.

o             Removal of obstacles and cleaning of the laboratory and WC

Additions:

Additions:

•             Upon the implementation of the above, it was identified (and confirmed during site visit) that the WC is in poor condition and requires improvement. Accordingly, the BoQ has been amended to address these needs, and new drawings were added to incorporate this building into the package. The following items have been added:

o             Self-Adhering Sheet Waterproofing for WC building – 110 m²

o             Anti-Slip Ceramic Floor Tiles (Type FL-01), 500x500x10 mm – 110 m²

o             Wall Painting (Type PT-01) – 310 m²

o             Deck-Mounted Soap Dispenser for non-proprietary soap – 4 Pcs

o             Toilet Tissue Dispenser (Type TD01) – 4 Pcs

o             Toilet Tissue Dispenser (Type TD02) – 2 Pcs

o             Wall-Mounted Bathroom Mirror (Type MR01) – 4 Pcs

o             Waste Bin (Type WB01) – 6 Pcs

o             Toilet Cubicles – 32 Pcs

o             Piping Works – including maintenance, supply, and installation

o             Western Toilet Seat (Type WC-02) – 4 Pcs

o             Eastern Toilet Seat – 28 Pcs

o             Wall-Mounted Rinsing Spray (Type RS01) – 32 Pcs

o             Sink Mixer – 4 Pcs

o             Wall-Mounted Installation Sink (Type SV01) – 4 Pcs

o             Metal Floor Drain (Type FD01) – Quantity as per design

o             Wall-Mounted Exhaust Fans for WC building – 4 Pcs

•             Two storage rooms were cleaned and painted to be used as lecture halls, AC units were added as below

o             3 ton floor mounted ACs - 6 Pcs total for all rooms

 

All other terms and conditions in the ITB remained unchanged.
