Description
The World Health Organization (WHO) invites vendors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for Interior renovation work for Establishment of Mongolian National Medicines Quality Control Laboratory.
Minimum Criteria for Vendors
Companies can only participate in this Request for EOI from WHO after completing their basic registration (free of charge) at the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org).
Minimum Vendor Criteria:
- All communications must be conducted in English.
- The organization must have a branch or representative office in Mongolia.
Regulatory and Quality Compliance:
- Full adherence to applicable international regulations and standards, including but not limited to:
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- ISO 14644 (Cleanrooms and controlled environments)
- ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing and calibration laboratories)
- ASHRAE, ANSI/IES, and NFPA standards (for HVAC, lighting, and fire safety)
- Capability to support regulatory inspections and provide as-built documentation for audits.
Preferred Vendor Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction or renovation of pharmaceutical or biotechnology facilities.
- Successful completion of at least three (3) projects involving GMP-compliant laboratories, cleanrooms, or pharmaceutical manufacturing areas.
