The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS) is pleased to invite prospective bidders to submit a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Supply and Delivery of 24,000 BTU Split-Type Air Conditioner For Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI), Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Re-bid). accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and the Schedule of Requirements as set out in this Request for Quotation (RFQ).
If you are interested in submitting a quotation in response to this RFQ, please prepare your quotation in accordance with the requirements and process as set out in this RFQ and submit it to UNOPS by the deadline for quotation submission.

Since it is the mainstream refrigerant on the market and enviromentally friendly.UNOPS Responce Yes, it was a typing error (R432); it should be R32. UNOPS accepts either refrigerant type, R290 or R32.Q2: Can we just bid for the Air conditioner?UNOPS Responce No, as clearly stated in the Bid Particulars, Section on Partial Quotations: Partial quotations are not allowed. Bidders must propose for both the A/C and AVR. and Evaluation will be done for the total requirement

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please see below the clarifications provided against the request received from the interested bidder:Bidder request We are writing to seek clarification regarding the Manufacturer Authorization Form (MAF) requirement in the referenced tender. Given the relatively small quantity involved in this bid, it is often challenging to obtain formal authorization from manufacturers for such limited orders.In light of this, we kindly request you to consider either allowing participation without the MAF or revising the clause to make it optional for low-volume procurement.We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your guidance on this matter.UNOPS Responce, To ensure bid submissions are compliant, bidders must include a Manufacturer's Authorization Form (MAF). This form can be issued by:The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM);An authorized OEM dealer located within the bidder's country; orA wholesaler or retailer duly authorized by the OEM.Any of these options will be considered valid for this bid. Submissions lacking a MAF will not be accepted by UNOPS.
