Provision of a Training Programme for Early Childhood Development (ECD) Educarers at Level 4 of the Qualifications Framework - Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare

Objectives of the Training Programme

a) Provide comprehensive training for 280 educarers in early childhood development aligned with the NQF Level 4 qualifications.
b) Enhance educarers’ theoretical and practical understanding of ECD principles, curriculum implementation and best child-centered practices, which should focus on all aspects of holistic child development, learning through play and developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
c) Facilitate hands-on experience in an early childhood development setting.
d) Ensure continuous monitoring and assessment of educarers’ progress.
