Objective of the consultancy:
To identify a suitable provider with substantial, relevant experience providing organizational advisory, auditing and assurance services to provide assurance and consultancy services to Unitaid.
Qualification of Firm and Consultants:
The selected Contractor shall have a pool of a minimum of 10 professionals with accreditation relevant to the engagements required: CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CPA (Certified Public Accountants), Chartered Accountant, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional), ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), etc.
The firm and proposed evaluation team should meet the following requirements:
1. Demonstrated substantial internal audit experience, including the experience and qualifications of the team to be assigned in the audit (10 years minimum for the lead partner and engagement manager);
2. Demonstrated advanced understanding and sufficient exposure to health-related international organizations by the profile of its client base, including understanding of grant making processes and procurement of medicines and diagnostics equipment and consumables;
3. Demonstrated excellent communication and writing skills in English and French (needed for possible interactions with French speaking grantees and sub-grantees);
4. Demonstrated in-house ability to review cases of wrongdoing when needed.
Consideration for appropriate representation with regards to gender and a broad mix of backgrounds, seniority, expertise, skills and perspectives is desirable.
Bidders are invited to submit a proposal for the above-mentioned RFP in accordance with the documents attached in the "Tender Document" tab. Proposals must be submitted via UNGM, through the “RFP documents” tab and upload documents in “My Tender Return” no later than 17:00 hours Geneva time on 30 May 2025. Given the time constraints, extension of tender closing date may not be feasible at this juncture. Bidders are encouraged to plan and submit the proposals by this closing date.
The tender contains sustainability considerations for preventing or minimizing damage associated with climate change.
