Provide Event Coordination Support to Disrupt Asia 2025.

South Asia, the fastest growing region in the world, is presented with both opportunities and challenges in the technology led Fourth Industrial Revolution, A phenomenon that is of utmost importance at an unprecedented time, given the increasingly complex challenges Sri Lanka is facing. To remain agile and equipped to meet evolving needs, UNDP Sri Lanka continues to adapt its advisory and programmatic offers to the current and future needs of the country, while delivering solid implementation support on the ground. It also promotes a collaborative approach to work, both across the office and with external partners.

To support this coordinated and collaborative approach to leveraging technology for the acceleration of Sri Lanka’s development, the Government of Sri Lanka’s flagship technology and innovation forum, Disrupt Asia, will be held in September 2025. The components of Disrupt Asia, which will be a five-day event, are as follows:

•    Venture competition to pitch digital solutions (Colombo, 1/2 day)
•    Conference (Colombo, 1 day)
•    Exhibition (Colombo, 1 day)
•    Networking reception (Colombo, 1/2 day)
•    City-wide innovation festival (Colombo, 1 day)
•    Potential roadshows outside Colombo (a minimum of 01, potentially in the Southern Province)

As a government-sponsored and highly backed initiative, the event engages key stakeholders, including ministries, private sector and industry stakeholders, and development partners and international organisations.

  Objective;

UNDP Sri Lanka, in partnership with the Government of Sri Lanka, seeks to engage a company to provide event coordination support for Disrupt Asia 2025.
