Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential vendors to provide an effective due diligence tool that can be licensed to UN-Habitat to assess potential implementing partners. This tool will support UN-Habitat’s mandate by establishing partnerships and collaborations with entities that meet high standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. The tool will be utilized to evaluate potential Implementing partners that have submitted expressions of interest (EOIs) for various programmes and projects. The tool should be a user-friendly due diligence tool that will facilitate UN-Habitat’s thorough review and assessment of potential implementing partners. The tool should enable UN-Habitat to evaluate these potential implementing partners' financial, legal, operational, and reputational standing. It will be used to conduct risk and compliance checks, investigations, reviews, or audits to verify facts and information about a particular implementing partner or end beneficiaries The expected output of due dilligence database system is to contribute to: (a) The reduction of risk involved in partnering with any sanctioned entity or individual. (b) Enhancing UN-Habitat’s compliance with anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption regulations by providing detailed reports on potential implementing partners. (c) Streamlining UN-Habitat’s risk management process and ensuring its efficiency by providing results from various sources (d) Enabling UN-Habitat to gain a complete and accurate overview of the third parties it intends to or collaborates with.
