1. United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Mobile Vehicle Crash Barrier & Retractable Bollards Barrier at UNAMI Premises in Baghdad International Airport (BIAP), Erbil & Kirkuk, Iraq. The type and quantity of barriers required as follows: a) Mobile Vehicle Crash Barrier Level K-8/L-3 Qty 2 b) Mobile Vehicle Crash Barrier Level K-4/L-2 Qty 1 c) Retractable Bollards Barrier Level K-4/L-2 Qty 13 2. The requirements will include, but not limited to, the followings: a) The Vendor to obtain any necessary permission from Iraqi Government/Kurdistan Region to get the items imported inside Iraq. b) Items to be with minimum one (1) year warranty. c) The Vendor is to provide all necessary instruction manuals for installation and maintenance. d) The items will be installed by the Vendor and must be provided with Certification of its tested standard from international authorized agency/institute. 3. For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and issue accordingly an Invitation to Bid (ITB) with detailed specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 4. In addition, the interested companies (New Vendors Only) are requested to complete their registration on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 5. Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
