New clarification added: Clarification 02:After analyzing the tender dossier regarding the tender, RFQ/2025/57076 - Supply, Delivery and Installation of Canteen Kitchen Equipment for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Pristina, Kosovo, we need you to provide some clarifications regarding: In technical terms 1.1   Item 1.2 Wall Shelf Question:Please check the dimensions given in the technical specifications as the dimensions W1000xD700xH850 mm are more like a workbench than a wall shelf.Please can you confirm if the dimensions are correct? 1.2 Item 1.5 Dishwashing Machine Question:a. Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a toleranceb. Should the offer also include the Pump for rinsing, detergent pump and Aid pumpc. Is the electrical power 10KW fixed or is there a toleranced. What are the dimensions of the basketse. Very specific requirements such as: "Automatic self-cleaning cycle; Element protection from low water and dry fire, Constant temperatures regardless of water pressure, Advanced electronic controls with programming and self-diagnosis", only directs us to a single manufacturer.While the dimensions and electrical power do not correspond to that manufacturer.Please, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications.  1.3 Item 1.10 Pizza Oven 5+5 Question:At the beginning of the specifications "Gas oven, double layer heat preservation "While at: "Electrical power: 8.6 +8.6kWElectrical supply: 380-415V 3N / 50-60Hz "If the pizza oven is gas, then the electrical power is very high and the supply voltage cannot be 380-415V 3N / 50-60Hz.Please confirm whether the oven is GAS or ElectricIn the picture it is three floors while in the description it is two floors, which of these is correct. 1.4 Article 1.12 Steam oven Question:a.       What is the capacity of the oven, how many pans, and the dimensions of the pansb.       Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a tolerance?c.       This is because the required dimensions and other specifications do not correspond.d.       The required specifications are from a certain manufacturer who does not have these dimensions.While the manufacturer with the required dimensions does not have these specifications.Please, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications. 1.5  Article 1.16 Cooker Question:a. Should the cooker have an oven or not?b. The temperature range of 0-500 C is the oven temperature or the hob temperature, and is this requirement fixed or can it be offered with other temperatures?c. The dimension of the electric hob of 22 mm must be wrong since it is very small, normally it is 22 cm or 220 mm.d. The electric power of 16 kW is fixed or is there a tolerance.e. Are the given dimensions fixed or is there a tolerance?f. The requirement for material: "Material: Device body is made from 18/8 Cr-Nİ stainless steel stone plate, other internal parts are made from aluminum plate" are from the manufacturer, but the other specifications are not from this manufacturer.Please, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications. 1.6 Item 1.18 Pasta Cooker Question:a. Is the electrical power of 8.5 kW fixed or is there a toleranceb. Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a tolerancec. Material requirements: "Material: Device body is made from 18/8 Cr-Nİ stainless steel stone plate, other internal parts are made from aluminum plate" are from the specified manufacturer but the other specifications are not from this manufacturer.d. In the technical specifications it says "With 2 separate places"While based on the required dimensions W400m does not exist since if required with 2 compartments the dimension should be W800 mmPlease, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications. 1.7 Item 1.19 deep fat fryer Question:a. Is the electrical power of 9.0 kW fixed or is there a toleranceb. Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a tolerancec. Material requirements: "Material: Device body is made from 18/8 Cr-Nİ stainless steel stone plate, other internal parts are made from aluminum plate" are from the specified manufacturer but other specifications are not from this manufacturer.Please, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications. 1.8 Item 1.30 Ice Maker Question:a. Is the electrical power of 0.44 kW fixed or is there a toleranceb. Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a tolerancec. What is the ice production capacity (usually requests are made based on production capacity)d. What is the bin storage capacityPlease, if you have the opportunity, review the specifications. 1.9 Item 1.31 Dish Machine Question:a.       Are the dimensions given fixed or is there a tolerance?b.       This is because if they are fixed, then we are forced to offer products from a predetermined company in this case.c.       Should the offer also include the Rinse Pump, Detergent and Rinse Aid?d.       Is the electrical power 10.3 KW fixed or is there a tolerance?e.       What are the dimensions of the baskets? f.        The electrical power of this machine is larger compared to Item No. 1.5 Dishwasher machine, which machine is larger than this one. 1.10  CE Certification Based on the requirements of the tender dossier, a CE certificate is required for the products offered. We ask you to confirm whether this certificate should also be submitted for the products: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4,  1.6, 1.9, 1.11, 1.13, 1.14, 1.20, 1.21, 1.22, 1.23, 1.26, 1.28, 1.29, 1.33, 1.34, 1.35 and 1.36. This is because "neutral" items such as tables, sinks, shelves and similar products for industrial kitchens are not certified with CE certificates and do not fall under the main directives that require certification for products that affect health, safety or environmental protection.UNOPS response 02:Please be advised that, in order to avoid limitations and ensure broader market participation, we have decided to introduce more flexibility within the technical specifications. We are currently revising the requirements to allow for minor variations—particularly in areas such as dimensions and power ratings—where such adjustments will not impact the overall performance or usability of the equipment.These revisions will be reflected in an upcoming amendment.

New clarification added: Clarification 03:We acknowledge that one of the key requirements of the tender is the presence of a local service center within the region. While we do not currently have an existing service center in place, we would like to inquire whether it would be acceptable to establish one and provide full details regarding our after-sales services within one month of contract award, should our company be selected.UNOPS response 03:Please note that, as per the tender requirements under Section III Returnable Bidding Forms - Form C Technical Quotation Form, bidders are expected to provide full details of the local company responsible for after-sales services at the time of bid submission. Unfortunately, it is not possible to fulfill this requirement at a later stage as proposed. 

New clarification added: Clarification 01:We would like to clarify, with reference to the Schedule of Requirements, page 13, under the section "Delivery Schedule and Incoterms Rules," it is stated that "All Goods and Services shall be supplied in Kosovo."For clarity, could UNOPS kindly confirm whether this means that all goods must be purchased from within Kosovo, or if bidders are free to source items internationally?UNOPS response 01:We would like to clarify that while all goods and services are to be delivered in Kosovo, there are no restrictions on the origin of the goods. Bidders are free to source items either from within Kosovo or internationally, as long as the final delivery takes place in Kosovo in accordance with the stated delivery schedule and Incoterms.
