Emergency Notification System

The Emergency Notification System (ENS) shall provide the United Nations (UN) with the web based mass two-way notification system that allows the UN to conduct mass emergency notifications to its members via multiple ways, such as: email, phone calls, SMS text messages, Instant messengers etc. The ENS shall be web-based and independent from the UN communications systems. The ENS shall also provide instant notification feed back/message acknowledgement to the UN from the members. The ENS shall allow several types of notifications such as: emergency notification, polling notification, quota notifications and conference call notifications. The ENS shall accommodate 500 to 50,000 members. The vendor shall provide a high performance, scalable and reliable system that meets a monthly broadcast availability of 99.99 per cent or greater. The customer support shall be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 day a year (24/7/365), with expected time to acknowledge a request call within 15 minutes with an expected time to resolve any issue within a two (2) hour time frame. The ENS shall be accessible via online, live phone operators, smart phone and tablets applications.
