Provision of Open-Source Monitoring, Data & Analysis and Real-Time Reporting Services for OSESGY in Yemen

1. The Office of the UN Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) requires the monitoring and analysis of coverage from all relevant traditional and new media (local, regional and international), as well as the tracking of feedback and commentary on the office’s activity, the special envoy, the UN-facilitated peace process and all relevant political, security, economic and humanitarian developments at the local, regional, and international level that have an impact on OSESGY’s mandate. This reporting and analysis will help strengthen OSESGY’s situational awareness and improve its ability to tailor public and private messaging accordingly. 2. The resultant agreement is valid for an initial period of two (2) year with an option to extend the contract for an additional period of 3 years, one-year each (1+1+1) subject to satisfactory performance and extenion of OSESGY mandate. 3. The scope of the required media monitoring and analysis services is wide-ranging and includes open-source broadcast media, online media and social media in Arabic and English. 4. The framework of media monitoring and analysis is a comprehensive process including reporting on updates from broadcast, digital, print, and social media. The goal is to provide a media monitoring and analysis of the coverage of the UN special envoy for Yemen, OSESGY’s work and efforts in advancing the peace process, the obstacles hindering the process, as well as the public reactions of the conflicting parties and other relevant stakeholders. 5. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. OSESGY reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to an EOI does not automaticall guarantee that such compay will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued . INTERESTED VENDORS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM LEVEL FOR REGISTRATION FOR THIS TENDER IN UNGM (www.ungm.org) IS BASIC LEVEL, COMPANIES WHICH ARE NOT FULLY REGISTERED IN UNGM MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE UPCOMING TENDER.
