New clarification added: Question 22: We are a company registered in Djibouti, Yemen, Somalia and Ethiopia and we would like to participate in this tender. Can we as an international company participate in the bid? If not, then what do we need to participate (documents, Joint Ventures....etc)?UNOPS Response: In order to share the Local agent details, please give the list of countries.Tanzania & Sao Tome will be the destination countries and in country agent presence will be required.

New clarification added: Question 21: With reference the LOT 7 to your kind ITB, the product specifications are not related to the product name indicated, could you please clarify the correct product you are asking for? If possible, send us a picture for reference. UNOPS Response: Lot 7 is for Sao Tome, Load Capacity - 2 TonLift height required- 12mFork length required - 1070/100/40

New clarification added: Question 20: Please confirm with them:(1) if they need side shifter(2) they need acid battery or lithium battery? how about the volumn of the batteryUNOPS Response: Indicate on the proposed type of battery you are offering. If not clear please indicate price for both for the client to make a choice. Side shifter- Proposals for accessories are welcome, kindly indicate any accessories with clear separate prices.

New clarification added: Question 15: Do you have the warehouse drawing,with the drawing, everything would be very clear, we also need it to make sure the truck could work in the warehouse? UNOPS Response: Kindly work with specifications provided for each product. Warehouse layout not available.Question 16: For three-wheel counter balance forklift, ours lifting height is 6000mm, we want to know if this altitude could work for you.UNOPS Response: Kindly quote and highlight deviation to specification in your proposal. Question 17: The order picker what we have is 1.2 ton, and we can lifting from 4.7m to 9 m, but we don't have 2 ton lift hegiht, can we replace this with another type of truck, like VNA forklift.UNOPS Response: Kindly quote and highlight deviation to specification in your proposal. Question 18: For the basic training, do customer need our people train their workers in their country, can we training their people from video instrumentUNOPS Response: Alternative training methods are acceptable kindly indicate type of training to be provided.

New clarification added: Question 14: Lot number 5. We only do a low level order picker to 765mm in lift height for a 2 tonne capacity machine. If you want 1.5 metres it has to be a secondary level order picker but will then only pick up 1 tonne.UNOPS Response: Kindly quote as close to the specification if not possible alternative can be suggested

New clarification added: Question 7: There arent any specificaton is given for the Chargers for any of the Electric Equipments. Since there are going to may countries and the electricity standards varies in each country like 50Hz, 60Hz, 110~120V-single phase, 220~240V Single phase, 380~440V 3-phase etc. So kindy confirm the Specific requirement of the charges as well because for each of the charger, the price varies.UNOPS Response: Kindly quote and align with Electrical standard for chargers in Tanzania as well Sao Tome (Tanzania 230V supply voltage and 50Hz; standard voltage is 220 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.) as a guid.Question 8: for all teh Equipments you have mentioned " length". please explain what does this number means , is it the length of 'FORK" or is it the length of the ' entire Equipment ' itself.UNOPS Response: Length of main product being either Forklift or PickersQuestion 9: inorder to share the Local agent details, please give the list of countriesUNOPS Response: Tanzania & Sao Tome will be the destination countries. Question 10: for LOT 7, the currently given specifcation is not engouh for pinpointing one Spcific model, as it is vary general and may model comes under that specification. so kindly share these information for teh Lot 7: A. Fork length requiredUNOPS Response:Load Capacity - 2 TonLift height required- 12mFork length required - 1070/100/40 Question 11: you are sking for maufacturer authorization and proof of Partner status with OEM. the Manufactures Authorizartion itself is a proof of that , so can you explain what do you meant for this proof, a dealership agreement ?UNOPS Response: A dealer agreement is acceptable.Question 12: the OEM has iso certification for all product as one document, wil that be enough since the submission of document is per Lot ?UNOPS Response: This is acceptable.
