HQ24NF314_EOI External Validation of Supply Chain Carbon Accounting Methodology and Solution for Estimating Supply Chain Scope 3 CO2 Emissions
The WFP Sustainable Supply Chain team (SCDL-E) seeks to purchase a consultancy service to externally validate WFP Supply Chain greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions baseline.
In order to be able to set GHG emissions reduction targets it is essential for WFP to validate and be assured of the quality and validity of its Supply Chain GHG emissions baseline and therefore is seeking an internationally recognized external validation by a certified third party.
WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the requested services.
The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to perform the services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposed tender.
Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined on the basis of the certifications and ability of the company to conduct a validation of WFP Supply Chain GHG emissions following the GHG Protocol standards. The company should be certified with relevant ISOs (such as ISO 14065) that enables them to conduct a third-party verification of GHG assertations or else the company should be accredited by other relevant international or national bodies (e.g. by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
