Description
Within the framework of the ongoing comprehensive review of the United Nations common system compensation package, the secretariat of the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC) is seeking the services of an external consultant to assist in developing possible alternatives to the present compensation system and/or its individual elements.
While the primary interaction with ICSC would be through its secretariat, the consultant will be expected to attend Working Group meetings and ICSC sessions, if necessary, where they might interact with participating Commission members and other stakeholders.
The Consultant will be expected to provide input, conduct research and analysis, develop proposals, submit presentations and reports and conduct other research and development activities under the following general themes:
- Remuneration structure
- Competitiveness and sustainability of pay package
- Performance recognition and other human resources initiatives
