This RFQ refers to procurement of GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION, AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY FOR 1 PLOT CLINIC STRUCTURE IN KUSHK-E-ROBAT SANGI DISTRICT, HERAT - AFGHANISTAN.

New clarification added: C#3: Will UNOPS provide us a security clearance of the equipment to be used?R#3: All equipment shall be provided and managed by the Contractor for implementation of the assignment. UNOPS will not provide any support for security clearance.C#4: Will UNOPS provide us a clearance for the soil samples? The soil samples we had collected were consificated by the security operatives at the airport thought were minerals.R#4: UNOPS will not provide any support for obtaining security clearance for soil samples. Its the responsibility of the Contractor.C#5.The formation is too hard and its hard digging trial pits of more than 2m deep.Therefore, we request that you recommend at least 2m minimum.R#5: Please refer to the ToR and your submission shall be aligned to the ToR requirements.C#6: Due to insecurities,land terraine and poor roads networks, we therefore, request you to forego the borehole drilling activity since the borehole drilling equipement is too heavy and the distances also are too far apart.R#6: Please refer to the ToR requirements, which is mandatory in this RFQ.

New clarification added: C#1: Groundwater Investigation (TOR, Section 1.2.12): Could you please clarify if a Geophysical Test is required to determine groundwater details at the site, as outlined in the instructions?R#1: Please refer to the amendment 01 and revsied ToR.C#2. Borehole Drilling Requirements (Bullet C, Section 1.2.18 of the TOR):The TOR states that "Boring (soil borehole drilling) methods, equipment, and procedures shall be selected as per section 1.4 and 1.5 code and standards." Could you please clarify whether borehole drilling is required in addition to conducting Test Pits, or if Test Pits alone are sufficient? If borehole drilling is necessary, could you also specify the required number of boreholes and their respective depths, as this significantly impacts the cost of services? Additionally, we have noted that the referenced sections 1.4 and 1.5 do not seem relevant to this context. Could you please confirm if there is a mistake in the reference or if alternative sections should be consulted?R#2: Please refer to the amendment 01 and revsied ToR.
