A. The United Nations Global Service Center/United Nations Logistics Base (UNGSC/UNLB) is seeking Expressions of Interest from established and financially-sound companies for the provision of the following services for the maintenance of the facility of the United Nations Support Base in Valencia (UNSB-V): 1. Maintenance and repair of various building installations and/or systems and equipment, including provision of required spare parts. The installations and/or systems include electrical, HVAC, plumbing and sewage, irrigation, fire protection system, access and security systems, as well as lifting and electrical equipment. 2. Cleaning of premises and Ground Maintenance, Gardening, Herbicide Services, Fumigation and Pest Control Services, and waste disposal (from paints or varnishes removal, printing toners, paper/cardboard/ wooden/metallic/texile/glass packaging, various types of batteries, wood, glass plastic and metal). All these requirements include the provision of labour, materials, supplies, consumables, specialized and other equipment for the execution of the services. B. The facility is described as follows: 1. UNSB is approximately 40,500 sqm base with three main buildings: 1.1 Office 1 (approximately 1,200 sqm/floor - 2 floors) 1.2 Office 2 (approximately 1,200 sqm/floor - 2 floors) 1.3 Main Operation Building (approximately 3,000sqm – 1 floor) 2. Seven (7) minor buildings (1floor): 2.1 Access Pavilion-approximately 100 sqm 2.2 Warehouse-approximately 150sqm 2.3 Garbage Room-approximately 30 sqm 2.4 Control Cabin approximately 10 sqm 2.5 Gardening pumps and implements Room, 2.6 Energy Centre-including section centre and power generators 2.7 Subscriber Electric Station 3. Parking of 3,000 sqm. 4. Current occupancy of the Base is equivalent to approximately 200 people. C. The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with an option to extend for two (2) periods of one (1) year each, subject to the satisfactory performance of the contractor.
