The United Nations Global Service Centre requires the provision of a Digital International Leased Line at 622 Mbps, connecting UNGSC-Valencia, Spain and UNGSC-Brindisi, Italy. Contracted connection will be utilised as an active back-up to an existing OC-12 ATM Leased Circuit, and also for transport of Internet Traffic through the two sites (UNGSC-V or UNGSC-B). The requirement is for a tailor-made turnkey system (i.e., hardware, software, connectivity, support, etc.), which exactly matches with the UNGSC requirements. It is anticipated that the contract period will be for an initial period of two (2) years from the date the link is activation, (estimated time-frame 13 May 2014), with an option to extend the contract for three consecutive periods of 1 year each (2 yrs + 1yr. + 1 yr + 1 yr.).
