Call For Procurement Business Seminar

The WFP Somalia pleased to extend an exclusive invitation to all vendors in Mogadishu to participate in our upcoming Procurement Seminar. Date to be confirmed. Women owned business and business owned by people with disability are encouraged to participate.

The purpose of this Business Seminar is to increase the number of Mogadishu, Somalia entities that wish to do business with UNWFP Country Office as well raise awareness about business opportunities available within the WFP. The seminar will explain the process of registration, how to participate in the WFP bidding/tendering process and the overview of the UN Procurement Policies, Procedure and Guidance.  

Interested companies are invited to submit their interest by email to the below address. The email must include, as a minimum, the following information:

a. Legal name of your company.

b. Company email address and mobile number.

c. Name of the company representative/focal point.

d. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation or Company Registration

e. UNGM Number if available.

The EOI, clearly marked “Call for UNWFP Procurement Business Seminar of Interest to attend the WFP Business Seminar in Mogadishu, Somalia”, must be submitted to WFP not later than COB on Wednesday, 24 Jul 2024, via link and email address.
