Description
Under the Triangular Partnership programme (TPP), the United Nations Department of Operational Support (DOS), with support from the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the pacific (ESCAP), plans to conduct a training course on Heavy Engineering equipment (HEE) operation at the Multinational Peacekeeping Training School in Kampong Speu, Cambodia, for peacekeepers from Troop Contributing Countries. The rented equipment will be operated by the UN, military training teams and trainees, under supervision, for an approximately 6 weeks from November to December 2024. The required equipment are as follows: 1. Motor Grader - One unit General user in road construction with Roll Over Protective Structure (ROPS) or Falling Object Protective (FOPS) enclosed cabin Indicative operating weight (without ripper) 13,000 - 18,500kg indicative blade height: 580 - 660mm and width: 3.5 - 3.9m indicative engine power: 85 - 165 kW 2. Wheel loader - One unit For general use in construction and engineering projects with ROPS or FOPS enclosed cabin. Indicative weight: 16,500 - 22,500kg Indicative bucket capacity - heaped - 2.0-3.6 cubic meters. Indicative engine power: 150 - 200 kW 3.Crawler Bulldozer - One unit For general use in construction and engineering projects with ROPS or FOPS enclosed cabin Indicative operating weight 17,000 - 26,000kg Indicative blade capacity 4.5 - 6.2 cubic meter Indicative engine power: 125 - 160 kW 4. self-Propelled Vibratory Roller - One unit For general use in construction and engineering projects, single drum with rubber tyres at rear, ROPS or FOPS enclosed cabin. Indicative operating weight: 10,000 - 15,000kg Single drum width 2.0 - 3.2 meters Indicative engine power: 80 - 165 kW Notes: 1. Diesel engine: Normal aspiration or turbo charged, water cooled and direc injection type in compliance with the Cambodia national or international envieromental emission regulations and standards. 2. All equipment must compy with Cambodia transport regulations and not be older than 10 years from date of manufacure. This EOI does not contitute a solicitation. ESCAP reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during this EOI phase or the Solicitation process, Submitting a response to this EO does not automatically gurantee that a vendor will receive an invitation to participate in the solicitation. Only those companies deemed qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the vendor application, will receive the final solicitaion documents.
