Please will UNOPS accept such a better offer.Answer 10: Yes, the specifications mentioned in the tender are the UNOPS minimum requirement a better product is acceptable ____________________________Question 11: As there is no size and communication type requirement from the item 6, lot 2, in the technical requirement file, I wonder if you are looking for a clamp-on ultrasonic water meter?Answer 11: Yes____________________________Question 12: Hello, could you offer us the photos for each item? so that we could quote the right prices.Answer 12: Please follow the specifications provided in the tender. Do you need an electromagnetic flow meter or an electromagnetic water meter? The water meter is battery-powered and supports GPRS output, while it can be integrated to display pressure, but the price will be much higher.15.2. Due to the customer's requirement that all flow meters work with the pressure logger, my understanding is that all flowmeters and pressure transmitters should be able to feed data back to the same terminal for viewing via signal transmission. Our flow meters and pressure transmitters are equipped with RS485 (Modbus) signal output. Is this accepted?15.3. Confirm if you will accept flow meter that do not have telemetry but have a pulse output which could be used to connect to a suitable telemetry device?15.4. Regarding ultrasonic flow meter please note our accuracy deviates from what is required. You want 0.5% which is not possible we can do 1% accuracy. Is this acceptable?Answer 15: Please note the following answers15.1. The requirement is for Electromagnetic flow meter15.2. Yes, it is acceptable15.3. New clarification added: Question 5: Dear Procurement Office, Lot 2: items 1 to 5 and 7. We would like to know if item 7 should be from the same factory and compatible with items 1 to 5 ? Or, is item 7 required for other existing equipment and not related to the bulk flowmeters?Answer 5: Item 7 (Pressure loggers) work with the flow meters in item 1-5. These should be compatible. However, it is not mandatory for the two to be manufactured by the same factory. As long as the two can work together to send the data remotely, this is fine.

New clarification added: Question 1: Dear Sir/Madam, we have the following queries to make regarding this tender:We do not think the delivery time of 4 weeks to the end user is realistic; based on the quantities requested, these goods would have to be manufactured and shipped to Sierra Leone; this alone could take anywhere between 6-8 weeks (excluding manufacturing time). Can the delivery time be revised to 16-20 weeks ARO?The deadline for submitting a bid also seems quite short; can it be extended by a further two weeks?Thank you for taking the above into consideration.Answer 1: Please note the following1.1. Delivery timeline: The UNOPS desired delivery timeline is 4 weeks. However, bidders can propose their own delivery timelines. We will evaluate the bids based on the lowest priced substantially compliant offer. In the event that all bidders offer a longer duration than the specified 4 weeks, we may prefer the one with the shortest possible delivery time compared to the other bids. 1.2. Deadline of bid submission: The deadline of bid submission would be extended for 1 week additional time. This will be communicated through a tender amendment. ________________________________Question 2: Dear Procurement Office, Can you please clarify the following questions ?2.1 - Lot 2 items 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17Can you please clarify if the flange adaptors are to be installed on PVC, HDPE or ductile iron pipes ? Shoudl they be tensile or non-tensile couplings ?2.2 - Lot 2 items 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12Can you please clarify if the flange sluice valves has to de belivered equiped with hand wheel or T-key ?Asnwer 2: Please note the following respose to both parts of the question. 2.1 - The flange adaptors are for DI pipes. The couplings should be tensile to increase its flexibility. 2.2 - The flange sluice valves have to be delivered equipped Hand whee________________________________Question 3: Dear Sir/Madam, reference is made to Lot 1:3.1. For every "elbow" that is mentioned (e.g. GI, DI), the angle of the elbow has not been provided: can this be provided please3.2. For item 32, the length of the GI pipe has not been provided3.3. For item 39, the length of the spigot has not been provided.3.4. For item 46, the length of the spigot has not been provided3.5. Gasket materials have not been specified; can this be provided3.6. DI pipe diameter DN80mm: this diameter is now rarely used and because of this, is quite expensive. Would the end user accept a DN change from 80mm to 100mm in order to save costs?Answer 3: Please note the following3.1. The bend for the GI and DI should be 90 degree3.2. For item 32, the length of the GI pipe is 5.8m to 6m. 3.3. For item 39, the length of the spigot is 0.3m to 0.6m 3.4. For item 46, the length of the spigot is. 0.3m to 0.6m3.5. These are normal gaskets for the various sizes. 3.6. DI pipe diameter DN80mm: This can be accepted on the condition that the supplier should provide DN 100mm by DN 80mm reducer.________________________________
