Description of the Assignment: Consultant to Undertake a Mapping of Digital Marketplaces in Uganda

Period of assignment/services: 7 Working Days spread over two calendar weeks.

The purpose of the assignment, the consultant will be required to build a map of digital marketplaces operating in Uganda. This mapping will include a list of business-to-business/business-to-consumer marketplaces, and other digital platforms enabling commercial transactions operating in Uganda, direct feedback through surveys and/or consultations from marketplaces on their operational features and functions, as well as a country profile summarising the business models and services of digital marketplaces in Uganda.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
