Description
1.The United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) is seeking to establish a five (5) year contract(s) with qualified and experienced companies for the provision of concrete works at its various camps in the Abyei Administration Area. 2. The Contractor(s) will be required to provide manpower and materials for the construction of various concrete structures that include: 2.1 Concrete Walkways/Footpaths 2.2 Road Crossing Works 2.3 Floor Slabs 2.4 Drainage and Culverts 2.5 Plain Cement Concrete Works 2.6 Manholes and Covers. 2.7 Bollards, Jersey Barriers, T Walls, Abutment Walls; columns, foundation footings etc 2.8 Underground Concrete Structures e.g. septic tanks, oil water separators 2.9 Any other Concrete Works as required by the mission. The Contractor(s) shall also perform survey work as may be necessary to develop drainage profiles to maintain adequate slope and alignment. 3. The Contract(s) shall cover all UNISFA areas of operation in the Abyei Administration Area, Sudan and South Sudan . The areas of UNISFA operation for the contract implementation purposes are divided into five (5) Sectors namely: i. Abyei North Sector. It includes Farouk, Diffra, Goli, Todach, Shegeg and other team sites as needed. ii. Abyei Central Sector. It includes UNISFA Headquarters in Abyei, Dukra, Highway, Noong, Alal and other team sites as needed. iii. Abyei South Sector. It includes Banton, Anthony, Agok, Tajalei, Marial Achak, Agony Toak, Leu, Rummamier and other team sites as needed. iv. Sudan Sector. It includes Kadugli, Abu Quassa, Tishwin and other team sites as needed. v. South Sudan Sector. It includes Gok Machar, War Abar, Kirr Adam and other team sites as needed. 4. By expressing interest, vendors must ensure that they are able to obtain work permits, road clearances etc. from local government authorities and communities to carry out works and transport construction materials in the above listed locations. NOTE: a. Detailed material specifications and description of the works will be provided to the successfully invited companies. b. Submission of the EOI does not constitute an obligation by the United Nations to include your company in this specific procurement exercise, neither does it assure that a specific tender exercise will be undertaken in due course.
