Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of Ecosystems Division, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), invites qualified interested firms to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of technical assistance on Enterprise Incubation Programme for UNEP on a global scale. United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), requires the services of an institution to deliver the technical assistance. The overall objective of this technical assistance will be to develop and implement incubation programs aimed at developing business and finance skills amongst restoration project developers. Each incubation program is to be delivered as a package in which the Technical Assistance provider will undertake the following tasks and responsibilities 1. Design the overall structure of the incubation program 2. Map, identify and connect with incubation delivery partners and content developers to shape and coordinate their interventions to support the program’s curriculum. 3. Prepare training materials to build the capacity of the program’s delivery partners on the ground (“train the trainers”), with the aim to train local partners. 4. Be responsible of organizing calls for entrepreneurs and call for mentors in targeted geographies, which includes searching for and selecting participants. 5. Manage the incubation program in selected geographies. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
