Provision of Renewable Energy at MINUSCA Sites in the Central African Republic

The United Nations Multidimensional Mission in Central African Republic ( MINUSCA) seeks to identify potential service providers as follows: 1.1 Capacities of Service providers in relation the project: a- financing b-construction c- operation and maintenance of renewable power plants 1.2 Potential Locations: Bouar, Bria, Bambari, Bangassou, Bossangoa, Birao, Kagabandoro, Sibut, Ndele 1.3 Energy Requirement: Ttoal 18 Gwh per year for the nine (9) locations 1.4 Proposed Agreement Type: Power Purchase Agreement, which may include sale of electricity to MINUSCA at an all-inclusive fee in US$/kWh. 2. Mandatory requirements: a- Government Authorizations/Permits/Licences to perform the above services in the territory of Central African Republic for a projected period of five (5) years 3- Positive Legacy: a- Provision of Energy related vocational training services to local communities b- Connecting local businesses, schools, hospitals, government buildings and other public and private institutions c-Establishing partnerships to ensure continued operations and provision of power beyond the existence of the MINUSCA Mission.
